Amanda Kloots Revealed Her Wedding Beauty Routine

Amanda Kloots, a former Broadway dancer, Radio City Rockette, and now celebrity trainer and all-around fitness guru just got married over Labor Day weekend to Broadway star Nick Cordero. Naturally, the New York City couple tied the knot at The Skylark, a swanky event space with stunning views of the Empire State Building, and a Broadway-worthy first dance. We talked with Amanda, a patient of Dr. Schultz's and a fan of BeautyRx, who revealed her complete bridal beauty routine.

What did you do the weeks before your wedding to get ready for the big day?

Well, the workouts was the easy part because it is my job to work out! I was going to see Dr. Schultz every week for a 2-minute glycolic peel and stopping in for any emergency help with breakouts. I was also going to the spa for body treatments and doing Cyrotherapy to keep inflammation down.

What was the inspiration for your wedding beauty look?

I totally copied the ad my dress was in for the designer. I wanted to look just like the model!

What were some of the products you used to get that look on your wedding day?

I used BeautyRx cleanser and moisturizer.  I also had a beautiful wedding day scent from Jo Malone that consisted of body wash, body lotion, and cologne.  I had my teeth whitened by Dr. Nancy Rosen so that my smile was as white as can be!  The last thing I did was get a spray tan from Beach Bum Tanning to have an overall glow.

Any products you kept on hand just in case of a wedding beauty emergency?

I just had my lip gloss that my makeup artist used!

Any beauty advice for brides-to-be before their big day?

I would say to really focus on your diet and skincare two weeks before. Try to limit alcohol to reduce puffiness. One thing I learned from Dr. Shultz was to not make any drastic changes to your skincare. I think this is really important and really made a difference. Don't be tempted to try the latest creams and lasers- wait till after the wedding!
